Barcode Match Detector is a mobile application designed to scan, compare, and detect whether barcodes match.

The app is designed so that its primary barcode matching functionality can be performed directly on your device.

Barcode Match Detector itself does not intentionally collect the following personal information:

• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your physical address or GPS location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or videos
• Your personal account information
• Your payment information
• Your barcode scan history on our servers
• Other personally identifiable information

Barcode values entered or scanned in the app are processed for the purpose of comparing and matching barcodes. This information is not intentionally transmitted to our own servers.

3 Camera Permission

Barcode Match Detector may request access to your device camera so that you can scan barcodes.

Camera access is used only for barcode scanning. The app does not intentionally upload your camera images or videos to our servers.

You can manage or revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings. If camera access is disabled, barcode scanning using the camera may not be available.

4 Barcode Information

When you scan or enter a barcode, the barcode data may be temporarily processed by the application to determine whether two barcode values match.

Barcode information is used only to provide the functionality requested by you. We do not use your barcode values to create a personal profile.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in a future version of the application, barcode data is not stored on our servers.

5 Advertising

The application may use Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may automatically process certain information related to your device and app usage for purposes such as displaying advertisements, measuring advertising performance, preventing fraud, and providing relevant advertising.

This information may be processed by Google as a third-party service provider and is subject to Google's own privacy policies.

The core barcode scanning and matching functionality is designed to work without requiring an internet connection.

However, an internet connection may be required for third-party services such as advertising.

If an internet connection is unavailable, advertisements or other online services may not function, while the core offline functionality may continue to work.

We do not operate a server that intentionally stores your personal information or barcode scan data.

Information needed for barcode matching is processed locally within the application whenever possible.
